Rick’s Paradox and Diva Dance are a lovely couple and a wonderful challenge to draw.

I began to make a painting with watercolors. When the paper was dry, I have cut six 3Z tiles and have drawn Rick’s Paradox and Diva Dance (with a black pen) I finished with blue and green colorpencils and a white gellypen.  A mosaïc was made  with the tiles. When you put them in another direction, you will get a total different work.

Thank you very much Holly. When you are drawing with colorpencils on an already watercolored paper, the colours become a little more stronger.

Love the color of the tiles. Your work looks so precise. I was hoping you would have posted pictures with the tiles in different positions.

Thank you Don. I’m sorry I didn’t post with the tiles in different positions. I’ve made the tiles separately and they I have glued them on a paper. I didn’ t think about showing them in another direction.

this is so tactile. I want to pick it up and find the Diva Dance strings “behind” the piece. And the color is just stunning.

Thank you Kate for your kind words. I’m glad you like this work. First, I have drawn the tangles on the 3Z tiles. When I finished the drawing, I have glued them on a piece of paper. I’m sorry but I can’t put them anymore in another position, but I know it is possible and it will give a different result.

Wow, Ria! This is absolutely fabulous. The colors, the composition. It’s all perfect. I, too, love the 3Z tiles; and putting them together this way is genius.

Ria: I just wanted to say that I found your new tangle that Linda Farmer put on Tanglepatterns. It’s Zimba. I have been playing with it for about an hour and find it intriguing and fun to play around with. It is rather easy to make the basic one, but when you want to put more squares together it gets a bit complicated but challenging. I like it.

Thank you DUane for your kind words. I’m always happy with comments. We can all learn from each other and I’m glad you like my new tangle.
I think there are more possibilities to change the basic pattern and it will give fun to explore. A bit of challenge, keeps our minds young.
By this way, I want to thank you also for your subcription.

Your challenge piece for this week is amazing! I love the mosaic that you made out of the 3Z tiles. The color is beautiful and the intertwining of the two tangles is spot on. Love it!

Thank you Lezli for your kind words, I love those 3Z tiles because they are so easy to make nice mosaics with. When you look at only one tile, you can see how easy it was to make this mosaic.

Thank you Anita for your kind words. It is nice to use now and then the watercolours. When the paper is dry and you are drawing with ordinary colorpencils on the paper, the colours become stronger and brighter and I like that.

Now, there it is. A very good way to do this Duo tangle thing. I like the way you interwove the dance with paradox. And paradox is a rather complex arrangement and done beautifully.
