I have found this Opustile among my older work.  I have chosen this tile especially for this challenge because I have used many aura’s. Now, I don’t do that so much anymore but  when I see this tile, I think I’m gonna do that again a bit more! The used tangles are: Quandary, Stircles, TIpple, Caviar, Rixties, Fescu, Lollywhimple, Gust, Msst and Oke.

A wonderful tile in beautiful colors. I particularly like the combination of organic patterns and the graphic aura elements. It reminds my on a map of a wonderful land in a storybook.

Thank you so much for always giving kind feedback Margarete. I don’t draw many times on opustiles but I’m glad you like this one, made a while ago!

What an out-of-the-box, beautiful tile, Ria! And those many tons of lines so consistently drawn throughout the Opus tile. I haven’t even tried to count the tangles or find out which ones I know, the lines alone flabbergast me! Not in a 1000 years will I ever dare to start drawing something like that. It is amazing!

As I wrote Susie, this tile is made a long ago and I admit it was a lot of work but I wanted to do something with Oke, a lovely and easy tangle of Michele Beauchamp. Aura’s are relaxing to draw and therefore I used them a lot to fill this huge space. Drawing on those Opustiles was a nice experience and I have made a few of them but still I prefer the smaller ones. Thank you very much for this nice comment.

Ria, I think you win the prize for “most tangles used in a Zentangle tile! I think the aura-work is a great addition to this tile as a background. It gives your composition the same depth as the contour lines on a topographical map.

Thank you very much for this wonderful compliment. I don’t work often on Opustiles but was satified about this one. Indeed you have a lot of space to fill with several tangles and aura’s and I’m glad you like this one.

Thank you Michele, I don’t work very often on Opustiles but this one was an exception, made a long time ago on a cold winterday.

Wonderful Linework Ria! Love your Auras and especially you played with Oke, which is such a lovely pattern not seen too often!

I remember our T.T., a long time ago and on that tile, you also started with Oke (and it was beautiful drawn)
