Already 4 years Adele gives us wonderful challenges. Sometimes I really have to come out of “my comfortzone” (because I draw many times without strings), but I do have to admit that I learned a lot by joining this challenges and I hope to send more entries in the future. I have chosen again for a grey tile and used a white gellypen and colourpencils. The border is drawn a bit larger than Adele suggested. The patterns are Wud, Copada, Trella and Knightbridge. Congratulations for this great job !!!

WOW!!!! WOW!!! WOW!!!! WOW!!!! A ‘wow’ for each candle and yet another WOW!!!! for the background. Ria, this is an AMAZING tile! Love it from top to toe, left to right, corner to corner, string to string, tangle to tangle, small square to big square, colors to shading, and straight lines to curved lines. Maybe, maybe if I enlarge the tile 1000x I might be able to find a little off center line or a tiny speck of misplaced shadow liner….Ah, I just hate it when people draw perfect tiles like this!!!

Thank you Susie, I’m blown away by your comment. Wud and Copada are some of my favorite tangles because you can do so much with them. “The candlestring” was difficult for me to bring in some variation, you did that in a wonderful way. So I decided to draw the square with the candles a bit smaller and used Knightsbridge and Trella and so I became more freedom for Wud and Copada on the same tile. I’m very glad you like the result. It is drawn on grey paper and coloured with ordinary colourpencils.
