Een combinatie van Verdigogh en Jetties waren de opdracht voor deze challenge. Ik wilde in deze tekening een beetje kerstsfeer brengen. Het zijn nu tenslotte de donkerste dagen van het jaar. Daarom koos ik voor een zwarte tile. Ik tekende een grote “Jetties” die langs één kant omringd wordt met Verdigogh. Voor een extra tikkeltje kleur zorgden mijn krijtpotloden.

The challenge was to make a  nice combo of Verdigogh and Jetties. I prefered  to draw on a black tile, already a bit in the Christmas atmosphere. Now we have in Belgium the shortest and darkest days of the year. I only drew one big “Jetties”, surrounded on one side by Verdigogh. For a final touch of colour, I have used different charcoal pencils.

    Your interpretation of the topic is really spectacular, dear Ria! Although the background is dark as the winter time, the elegant drawing radiates incredibly positive emotions! Simply gorgeous!

    I love your tile. Although Zentangle is not supposed to be representative it looks to me as if Verdigogh is hugging the moon and that the milky way is surrounding the moon. Lovely!
