For this challenge, Adele suggested to make a combination of Fünf, Fife and Furballs. I didn’t draw the string in the middle but used it to start a big Fünf (beneath on the left side). Two smaller patterns of Fünf followed. Next step was to fill the space inside the frame with Fife and I finished with one little Furball and a few small Tipples just outside the frame. For this challenge I chose to use a black pen on one of my watercoloured tiles.

With your watercolored background and the way you placed Fünf as starfishes your tile looks so friendly and has a maritime impression. A wonderful interpretation of this challenge, dear Ria!

Thank you very much Margarete, it was a while ago since I used watercolours. I hope to use them more in the future. When you work with colourpencils on such tiles, you can get wonderful colours!

I really love the starfish shaped stars. And the colours – you must have had a marine theme in mind!

Now and than I like to draw on watercoloured backgrounds. They are easy to create and always surprising. So I looked in my box of tiles and took a blue one (mostly my faves together with green) I’m glad you like the result and thank you very much for your kind compliment!
