At first sight, this challenge seemed a bit difficult, but it is not true. In fact the string is very easy to draw and Asian Fans is a beautiful and easy tangle. I have made a kind of ribbon instead of Susie’s curls an also my Asian Fans looks a bit different. I have chosen to finisih this fragile Renaissance tile with Breach, Flux, Tamisolo, Zinger and N’ Zeppel. On this kind of tiles, colors look great and I have used soft ones but also a lttle bit of “flashy” green because I see very often beautiful flashy colors in Susie’s work. Thank you very much for this interesting challenge!

Wow! I love this Ria! Your colors are so elegant and I love how you did Breach. I’m going to have to look that up. I seem to recall it passing by my radar but it didn’t stick. Beautifully executed;-)

Thank you Michele for this wonderful compliment, makes me always glad to get feedback from you.
I’m not sure but I think I found Breach by coincidence on Pinterest. There are thousands of pics, too much to remember them all! I only choose favorite ones to put in my personal legend. Breach was such a tangle, I liked at first sight: easy, nice and with lots of possibilities.

Oh Ria, your whole tile looks so beautifully delicate. Your ribbon reminded me of the tangle Organza – flowing in the wind. I especially love what you did with Asian Fans. I forgot to mention that you can draw Asian Fans any way you like, of course!!! Because I often alter a tangle chosen in a challenge, the remark just slipped my mind. I am so glad you stepped in once again. Jeez, am I glad I have you on MY side. LOL!!! Beautiful, gorgeous tile, Ria, drawn, shaded and colored masterfully as you always do!!! Thanks so much for participating on my challenge. XOXO

I use those ribbons many times, I like to draw them and it is so easy to create another space to fill. I’m glad you like the result.
Asian Fans was the first time I have used and it is a fun one. My favorite tiles are the tan ones, the colors look always nice but they are really delicate, so no use of an erraser! After I have drawn Asian Fans I thought about a kind of “flowery” pattern abough. Your Afterglow looks great in that composition, so I took a look in my personal legend and found Breach. This easy lovely pattern was there for months but I have never used it until now. For me this was a fine challenge with (for me) two new tangles.
I’m very curious to see the contributions of the others!

I am glad you liked the challenge and the tangle. Breach, huh? I had a look at the step out. You are right, it looks interesting. Maybe…just maybe…I will also give it a try. Thanks for the finger pointer, Ria.

Breach is a very uncomplicated tangle with lots of possibilities.
There are so many tangles, I am at the age that I’m starting to forget some of them (LOL), but the ones I like, I have drawn in a personal legend. When there comes at challenge, I just take a look on this legend to choose one of the favorite ones to add!
