I enjoyed this original challenge with a ( bit hidden) J as string. I used a grey tile and glued it on a blue background. The tangles I have chosen are Jetties, Joki, Verve and Ovolution. I really can’t miss my white gellypen to finish the job!

A very fun tile, swirly like the waves and blue is the perfect accent colour!

Thanks Joey, those tangles were the first that came in my mind for using a J a V and a O, all tangles I like and I enjoyed this challenge very much!

Lovely tile Ria! I love the way the grey tone paper makes the art stand off the page;-)

Hey Ria, ready for some marble games? Count me in.
An absolutely gorgeous tile, Ria, with well chosen tangles and a cleverly hidden string. And I like the idea of gluing 2 tiles on top of each other to get a part of the string. Can still learn a lot from a very clever Zentangle pro. Love it!!!!

Thanks Susie. I couldn’t choose between Jetties and Joki, both lovely patterns and Verve is also always nice. My tile was finished and I noticed I had forgotten the O, so a quick look on the patterns and there I saw Ovolution, a nice solution to put in the corner. I could coloring the border or use Photoshop but for me it was easier, just to cut out the smaller square and than glue on a blue background. I’m glad you like the result.Wisch you success with yours!

Just finished mine today and I stole one of your chosen tangles, Joki. You know, I never dared to try Verve, not even just as a sketch. I wouldn’t trust myself with the lines. But I have to say, your ‘afterthought’ Ovolution looks anything but an afterthought. It sits there like you had placed it first.

Joki is a wonderfull tangle and starts with a J, I’m glad you also chose this pattern, I love it but I love also Verve, just a bit exercising and it will be allright. I really didn’t know Ovolution before this challenge but I like it too, so you see: with every challenge you’ll learn a bit more! Thanks for the comment. I’m gonna take a look on yours, right now!
