I’m fond of these orignal challenge. It gives fun to see your work, growing, every week a little bit. After 9 weeks, everyone, who will join this challenge, will be surprised by an unexpected final result. Each individual tile is worthwhile and I hope to see a nice finished puzzle. I have chosen to use  grey paper and started with the tangle Beebug as a string. Inside the string you can see African Artist. Outside the string I have drawn Squid. To form the border I have chosen to draw fragments on black. Maybe they’ll change in the following tiles, maybe not, I’m not sure at the moment. “Anything is possible, one stroke at a time”. Now you see a variation on K2 and Z6

Thank you Joey for your compliment, this is a very original and lovely challenge, I enjoyed drawing my first tile very much and I like that no one knows already his own final result. That is a wonderful surprise!

Thank you Michele for this wonderful compliment. I didn’t use African Artist before but I’m glad I started with this (for me) difficult pattern and that you like the result. No one of us knows what is coming next week, I like a little surprise, so, let’s wait and see…and do our best to show an nice “ensemble”

Bonne weekend!!!

Oh Ria, this is absolutely gorgeous!!!!! And your AA…Just as I wanted to draw it, but my pen has a mind of its own and loves to sabotage my intentions.

Thank you Susie for your kind words, makes me very glad. To be honest I don’t like AA,never used it, for some reason this is a difficult pattern for me, therefore I only have drawn a little piece but I really love the idea of this challenge. In my case, Beebug (used as string) will come back in all tiles, Fragments in the border too and in the places out and inside the strings I ‘ll have the freedom to choose. I think I only gonna use pink but I’m not sure. This is the real Zentanglespirit, “one stroke at at time” without knowing the end. Fantastic!I do like it very much.

Thank you Margarete for your nice feedback. I’m glad you like my starting tile. At the moment I really don’t know what the final result is gonna be, but I like the idea and will do my best to deliver a nice finish.
