Today, Joey has chosen to add Ginily,  a very pleasant pattern that you can integrate very easily. You can draw Ginili as big as you want, it always looks good. I have drawn in the round with a few “flying” pieces (outside the frame). Inside the frame I went further with African Artist. The fragments are a bit equal as on the fourth tile and also the blue colour has made a come back. At the moment, you can get an idea what the final result will be. It is possible that I will use a bit more black to become more contrasts after finishing all tiles but I’m not sure at the moment. Wait and see!!!

When I saw your Ginili one word instantly came to mind: EXQUISITE!!! Ria, I cannot stress it strongly enough, this masterpiece has to go on the wall when finished! So far it is absolutely magnificent and if I was you, I’d be scared sh**less finishing it as I might mess it up.

Your Ginili is gorgeous! I love the way this is all balancing out. The black border is a fantastic frame and your limited use of color is so elegant;-)

Ria, I have been admiring your border since the beginning, Are you placing the smaller tiles on a larger paper that is a darker color or did you hand paint the darker area?

Thank you Sharlie for your kind words. Yes, I have put a smaller grey square on a bigger black one. I found it easier to draw on black paper than on paper, made black with a pen.
