Here we are, the mosaïc is finished with the lovely tangle Pokeleaf and I added Maria’s  Spoken too. When I saw the 9 tiles together I wanted to become a little bit more contrast and that is why I have made a new inner border, filled  with some darker spaces.  A few little details are changed: I painted two Quandary “stars” black , coloured Squid with a purple pen and draw an extra little “flying”  Ginnili. I enjoyed this original challenge and I wish everyone a great finish.  I  want to thank especially the ones who encouraged me with their kind feedback during this project.

Thank you very much for giving me here a nice comment. Indeed this was a wonderfull challenge, some weeks, it went easy, other weeks a bit more difficult but we all received a nice final result and learned a lot by seeing growing everyone’s mosaïc.

Oh Ria, I knew it. You made a terrific and simply marvelous mosaic! Lots of space to breathe…just as it should. Nicely spaced, different background shading, wonderfully drawn tangles… All in all a beautiful thought through design…just what I would have done!!!! Congratulations, Ria!

Ria your magical nine tile artwork is truly a ribbon of beauty and delicate harmony. Your added border sets it off gorgeously and adds loads of dimension. Fascinated each week, as this softly coloured fantasy has grown.

Thank you very much Felicity, indeed this was a nice challenge, sometimes easy, sometimes a little bit more difficult but I learned a lot (we still can learn every day), I enjoyed working on this project and also by seeing growing the tiles of everyone.

Thank you Trudi. I’m very glad with your words: everyone’s work is unique and worthwhile, that is the real Zentanglespirit! I wish you a wonderful cruise at the most beautiful time of the year, starting in your gorgeous Quebec. I visited that city years ago and I felt in love immediately.

A fantastic result! Congratulations, dear Ria! The last segment is also wonderful alone. But the overall picture is simply terrific. The inner frame is a great idea to give the picture depth. A great result! I see, you enjoyed this challenge like me. Best wishes, Margarete

Thanks Margarete, I do appreciate your comments very much. It was a nice project to see all the mosaïcs growing every week again. Some tiles went very easy, others asked a bit more to go nicely together in the overall picture. By every tile, but also by seeing the tiles of others, I learned a bit and that is a wonderful aspect of this beautiful form of art.
Warm regards from Belgium! Enjoy the beautiful autumn!
