It is a while ago since I ‘ve worked with watercolours. So I wanted to use them on this tile. I just let some colours flow into each other and put some yellow Bistrepowder on the wet tile. After drying, I started with the string. Surely you will recognize a variation on Margarete Gilge’s new tangle Herzlich. I didn’t draw a straight line but  let Flux going trough the smaller heart. I have drawn some ribbons around the green heart (just like Aquafleur). I added a few more Flux, Eddyper, some small hearts and Fescu. I finished with colourpencils and a white gellypen to make the colours a bit stronger.

A beautiful tile in friendly colours, Ria! The contrast between red, green and the sunny yellow brings life to the flowery tile. Your hearts nearly look like a three leafed shamrock, that brings luck and friendly feeling to everyone who looks at. It is wonderful to use watercolours in the background. Sometimes colour gives another dimension to tangles. It is nice, that you used my Herzlich. I like your interpretation of this pattern with Flux! Best wishes and a happy Valentine, Margarete

Sometimes, I really need colours to cheer me up, especially in this cold wintertime.
Your wonderful “Herzlich” asked for being used in this challenge. I thought to draw some Flux around your pattern but than I said to myself: “why not making a tangleation with Herzlich and Flux together”, and so you see the result. I’m glad you like this tile.
Send you warm regards from Belgium!

Thank you very much Susie, you know I like watercolours and I’m glad I have used them of this heartchallenge. I love the surprising colours they always appear on the paper but I still am learning how I can give them a bit more shine. It is nice to keep on growing, just one stroke at a time!

Ria, that’s a really wonderful tile. You could make a Valentine out of it for your husband, perhaps. I love the way you have used the watercolours.

Yes, Joyce, this could be a Valentine’s idea. It was a lovely easy string to start, the rest followed. I like to “play” with watercolours and I’m glad you like the result.
Thank you for your kind comment.
