Diva Dance is also one of my favorites, especially since Helen Williams showed us a different way of drawing this wonderful tangle. On this tile you can see Diva Dance in the leading role next to Susie NG’s cheerful tangle Spluk. E few empty spaces are filled with Dewdrops and Perfs and on the outside of two corners you will notice a few Beadlines. I enjoyed this challenge very much and have drawn with a black pen on a grey tile. The finishing touch is made  with an orange colourpencil and a white gellypen.

Ria! First of all, Spluk is not MY tangle, it is OUR tangle, it is a Ria/Susie tangle, so forget Susie NG, and that is an order!. Spluk wouldn’t exist if there was no Tupuk! I love how you let those bubbles escape, oh no, Spluk eats them up, like the computer game (name eludes me right now). Yes, Ria, you gave Spluk yet another twist. Love the whole tile!!!!

Thank you very much Susie for this great compliment, I’m glad you like my tile.
The idea to draw opened balls, filled with little bubbles and connected by a “ribbon” is your idea, therefore Spluk is your pattern, even if you were inspired by Tupuk. It is defenitely another tangle, but I’m very pleased when you see Spluk as our tangle, thanks Susie!

Wunderschönes Tile! Sehr harmonische Auswahl an Tangles.

Beautiful tile Ria! I love the mix of the elegant Diva Dance rosettes and the fun and whimsical Spluk. The white highlighting shows up so nicely on the grey tile. So far I have only used white tiles, maybe I will have to try some different colors!

Thank you very much LIsa for your kind comment.
I like to use tan and grey tiles, especially because a white charcoal or/and a white gellypen look wonderful of this kind of paper. It is really worthwhile to try.

Wat een mooie tile weer, Ria! Goed in balans.

Your compositon is very attractive, Ria!
A wonderful way to use Diva Dance like blossoms of roses. The pattern Spluk looks fresh and witty in orange and the beadlines give a wonderful frame.

Thank you Margarete for this nice compliment. I’m a big fan of Diva Dance, just because this pattern can be used in so many ways. I’m glad you like the composition and the combination with Spluk.

Love the tile! Using Spluk, and the touches of orange, make it really playful.

Thank you Joyce. I like Diva Dance very much because it is difficult to make “mistakes”. Just by adding a little bit more black, everything can be corrected without anyone has noticed. I created an empty space and wanted to draw something inside: Spluk was a good and playful choice. I’m glad you like the combination. (many times, I use a bit of orange to make the tile more cheerful)
