Cadent is one of the original tangles. It is a very versatile pattern and it is an easy one to connect with other patterns. I have connected Cadent with Aquafleur and Pea-Nuckle. I filled the empty spaces with Crescent Moon and Tipple and finished to draw Printemps inside Cadent, one of so many options. I used a black pen, colourpencils and I can’t miss my white gellypen to make some highlights.

A wonderful tile, Ria! I especially like your combination of black and colors. Especially the beautiful contrast between the gentle violet, light blue and green is very appealing and well placed. I’ve never liked Peanuckle so far, but I like the way you draw it, and I’ll draw it soon after your example.

Thank you very much Margarete. I didn’t have the intention to draw Aquafleur but I discovered, while drawing how easy it was to go from Cadent to Aquafleur and all of sudden I had several “Aquafleurs”. Peanucle was my first choice that came into my mind to connect with Cadent and that is not a fave of me but here I’m satified about the result. After drawing, it is nice to choose some colours to finish and I’m glad you like them.

I really love that tile. The way you drew Pea-Knuckle amazes me, because I’ve never liked it before, but the way you’ve drawn it, I like it a lot, and am going to copy it!! Thanks for sharing this.

Me too, never used Pea-Nuckle untill now. (I didn’t like it neither) On the internet, you can find a very nice demonstration of Molly Hollybaugh. Regulary, I draw together with the person who gives the demonstration to learn a new tangle. In fact, this is not a difficult one and I like it as a background of to make connections with other tangles.
Thank you very much for your feedback Joyce and wish you success with Pea-Nuckle!
