This drawing is made on a black Zendalatile. I have made a bigger circle on braun paper on which I have glued the smaller black Zendala. In the centre I have started with Dicso, followed by Ukkepuk and Copada. When I had finished this little composition, Frondous  became the next tangle, than Nik and to finish, I chosed Windfarm. First, I have taken colored charcoals but I found those colours to soft. I used some hairspray to fixate them and afterwards I have made the colours a bit stronger with ordinary colourpencils.

I love the tangles you chose for the background, Ria (besides the center bouquet of course!). They are both from the same ‘family’ of tangles, but very different. Every time I see Nik, I make a mental note that I have to try it out. Now I have to add it to my IAWTDT list because it seems I suffer from severe memory leak. ?

I have many memory leaks, but the Zentanglemethod helps me to keep my brains working…
Nik is a lovely versatile tangle and I have used it already a few times. Windfarm is an old fave and as you can notice, besides new tangles, some faves you will see regulary appearing on my tiles.
Thank you very much for your comment.

Your composition is great, dear Ria! I like the effect of the brown passepartout, which gives a wonderful depth to the round tile. The soft shaded black background and the green and yellow highlights give the white drawing with the very nice combination of patterns a friendly summerly mood.

Thank you so much Margarete for your kind comment which I do appreciate very much.Indeed, adding a passepartout can change the result, I like to do that now and than and I’m glad you like it. It is a mix of very recent and very old patterns.

Thanks Joyce for always giving kind feedback.
It is impossible to know all tangles. I’m just following Elatorium, Tanglepatterns.com and Ultimatepatterncollection and when I see a lovely new tangle appearing I draw that one in my personal legend. Nik and Frondous are very recent ones. Windfarm and Copada ares older but beautiful ones of Margaret Bremmer and Ukkepuk is on ultimatepatterncollection.
