Opnieuw een prachtige string die ik gevuld heb met Ovolution, het fragment K14, Flux, Printemps, Spoolies en Hamadox. Ik heb gekozen om deze tile af te werken in herfsttinten. (kleurpotloden)

Again a wonderful string that I filled with Ovolution, fragment K14, Flux, Printemps, Spoolies and Hamadox. I have chosen to finish this tile in the colours of autumn (coloured pencils).

This reminds me of a stained glass window, with its contrast between black and rich colours. It’s absolutely stunning, Ria!

It is dark but not too dark. I love the colours and patterns you have used. They work well together. Did you use black paper to start off with?

Thank you very much for your kind feedback. I’m glad you like this tile. I started on a white tile and coloured the triangled spaces and the places where I have drawn Flux black. All the other tangles were drawn on white background and coloured with ordinary colourpencils.

This is wonderful Ria, I love the way you colored so delicately!

Thank you very much Lisette. I began only with a little bit of colour, but it wasn’t what I wanted to become and than started to blend and blend and couldn’t stop. At first sight I even thought it was to dark and so the white gellypen finished it!!! I’m glad with your compliment!

Ria, this is stunning!! The greens still left from summer, the oranges & purples which fall brings, and then the intense deep red – autumn’s rare and special gift – combine to create such a beautiful representation of the season. Breathtaking! Sandswirl and Showgirl add movement to make the entire piece just dance. I love all of your work … but this Zendala is one of my very favorites! Happy Autumn to you! 🙂

Oops ~ Sandswirl and Spoolies are so similar! I didn’t see the difference until I looked again at your tangle names and studied your tile more carefully. 😉

That doesn’t matter Jan. I confuse many times different tangles because there are a lot looking equal, or even worse I have to look sometimes in my legend because I don’t know the names anymore…

Oh thank you so much Jan for giving me here a comment which made me very glad. I thought it was too dark, sometimes it is difficult to draw exactly the colours you wanted to have…

This time you were the first, dear Ria! And your Zendala is worthy to come first, because it is extremely sophisticated and attractive! With the dramatic red center in contrast to the domiating black and and the gently shimmering delicate autumnal colors, it is a real eye-catcher!

Thank you so much Margarete for this nice compliment. I liked the template and the filling was easy but I thought at first instance that the colours are a bit to dark. I have tried to make it a bit lighter with my white gellypen. Sometimes it is better to stop but when I’am busy on a tile I use sometimes to much dark or colours but I’m very glad you like it! I hope to see yours very soon!
